Carrots graduates!

**whispering**   (Hey, what's up, dogs?  Glad you could join us.  Today is a very special day.  Why, you may ask?  Because today, having passed his Easter Bunny evaluation with flying colors, our friend Carrots is ready to graduate and receive the title of "E.B."--Easter Bunny.)
(I can't talk too loud or I'll disturb the ceremonies.  Let's just watch and listen, okay?...)

"...recognition of your completion of the requirements for the degree of Easter Bunny, I am pleased to present you with this diploma, summa cum laude, magna cum laude, veni vidi vici magnum opus semper fidelis ad infinitum."

(Wow.  That sounds really official.)

"...Also, you may now claim the privilege of wearing this highly fashionable E.B. stole at future academic gatherings.  Congratulations."

"Oh, wow.  Thank you, Professor Bunn!  This is a dream come true!" Carrots exclaimed.

Okay, now we can yell.  YAY CARROTS!

"Woohoo!" Spunky yelled.

"Well done, lad!" Grandpa nodded.

"Hooray!" Patch cheered.

"Thanks, guys!  I couldn't have done it without your help," Carrots said. "Let's all get a picture together, shall we?"

Another "crack" at it

"Hey, Droopy, do you have a moment?" Carrots asked.

Sure, what's up?

"Well, I didn't do so well on my last Easter egg hiding test.  But I took your advice, and I've been practicing a lot since last time.  Can I show you?"

Of course!

"Awesome!  So...first, come outside with me.  Notice anything about this bush?"

Hmmmm...
Aha.  Over on the right....that's an egg.  Hey, pretty good hide job, Carrots.
"Thanks.  It's not my best work, but...this green doesn't match very well.

"Anyway...come over to this flowerbed, here. See anything interesting?"

Aha!  I found them, but it was a challenge.  Very clever, Carrots.

"Last one," Carrots said.  "Let's go back inside to the kitchen, here.  What do you see?"

This is the kitchen table.  And a plate of orange candles.

"Are you sure?" Carrots asked.  "Look very carefully."

Oooooh...I see it now.  Do you see it, viewers?
Nicely done, Carrots!  You have definitely improved your egg-hiding skills.

"Yes!" Carrots exclaimed, pumping his fist.

What do you think, viewers?  Has Carrots improved enough to pass his exam?...

Poker night, continued!

Hey, what's up, dogs?  We're back at our poker game and ready for the flop.  Come on, Carrots...give us something good.
Aha.  A 4, a 3, and a king.  Very interesting.  Very interesting indeed.

"Your play, Droop," Carrots prompted.

Mmm-hmm.  I'm going to bet 2 bones.

"Bold move, laddie," Grandpa muttered.  "But I'll call your bet."

He added two bones to the pot.

Hmmm.  Grandpa may have strong cards.  Or maybe he's just bluffing...hard to tell.

"Too rich for my blood," Patch said immediately.  "I'm out."

"I'll call," Spunky said.

"Okay, all bets placed.  Here comes the next card!" Carrots exclaimed.

"Droopy?  Droopy!"  Spunky said.  "It's your turn."

Huh?  Oh, sorry.  I was distracted by the huge pile of bones in front of my nose.  I'm just going to check for now.

Grandpa and Spunky checked as well.  No further bones added to the pot.  Too bad....

"Last card!" Carrots said.
It's an ace.  I check.  Grandpa, you're next.

Uh...Grandpa?  Why are you pushing all your bones into the pot?

"I'm all in!" Grandpa replied.

Spunky's eyes bugged out.  He squeaked,  "I fold!"

"Wow, this is exciting!" Carrots said.

"Droopy?  What are you going to do?" Patch asked anxiously.

Wow.  Hmm.  Grandpa could have a very strong hand of cards.  But again, he could be bluffing.  What are you up to, Grandpa?...

Look at that poker face.  I'm not getting anything from his expression at all.
Man.  This is a tough decision.  If I call his bet and he wins, I'll lose all my bones.  But if I win...I'll get all the bones in the pot.

"Droopy?"

...Fortune favors the bold!  I call.

"Okay, gentlemen, show your cards!" Carrots said.

Oh nooooooooo!  I have three kings, but Grandpa has three aces!  He wins.

Grandpa chuckled, "Better luck next time, laddie."

Sigh.  Well, I guess that's all the poker I'm playing tonight.  Hope you enjoyed the action!  See you next time...

Poker night!

Hey, what's up, dogs?  Glad you could join us.  As you can see, we're having a friendly little game of poker...Texas Hold 'Em, to be exact.

It's Patch, Spunky, Grandpa, and me. And Carrots has graciously agreed to be our dealer for the evening.  Hey Carrots, like your visor...looks very authentic.

"Thanks!" Carrots said.  "I made it myself."
All right, let's see what we've got.  I'm feeling lucky...

Mmmm, not too shabby.  Not too shabby at all.  I'll go ahead and post the blind.  Just one Milk-Bone this round, right Carrots?

"Yup."

Looks like everyone else is in, too.

Here comes the flop...will my luck hold out?  Find out next time...

Car show

Hey, what's up, dogs?  This week I took Grandpa Angus sightseeing in town, because there was an event I thought he might like--a car show.   Some townspeople parked their old cars along Main Street for others to look at and enjoy.

Hey Grandpa, which car do you like best?

"Eh, laddie, there are so many choices!  Incredible machines, they are."

"But...I think this one's me favorite," Grandpa announced.

Good choice, Grandpa!  Here, let me take a photo of you with it.

Hey, look at this one...it reminds me of Ajdin's new car
Here's a Passionate Purple car:

And hey...look at this!  It's a Spunky-sized car.  (Don't tell Spunky I said that.)

Well, it looks like we've come to the end of the...
Wait a minute.  Do you see what I see???

Oh man.  I NEED a picture with this Jeep.  I mean, I'm already dressed for it.

The owner of this Jeep is a U.S. military veteran.  We thanked him for his service and asked if I could take a picture with his vehicle.  He was very nice and agreed right away.

Hey Grandpa, take my photo, will you?

"Certainly, me lad.  Ready?  Okay, say 'BACON'!"

Bacon!

Wow, that's a great shot, Grandpa!  Thanks!  That was so doggone cool.

Which of the cars above do you like the best?...
